Always good to welcome friends of the Macedonian Parliament @SobranieRSM to Strasbourg. We discussed how to support and guarantee a smooth EU integration process of the country.
Hopefully Macedonians can be welcomed in this house as MEPs instead of guests as soon as possible.

+1In 2021 Hungary introduced its anti-LGBTI law. Finally the EU Commission is taking action by bringing Hungary to court.
Together with my colleagues I'm calling on all EU-countries to join this case. To show Orbán that there's no space for hate and discrimination in the EU.

We krijgen steeds meer ‘slimme’ producten en onze data die daaruit komen zijn goud waard voor bedrijven.
Maar hoe eerlijk is het dat jij geen controle hebt over data die jij produceert met dat ‘slimme’ product?
Daar komt met een nieuwe Europese datawet verandering in!

+1Heel goed dat de Europese Commissie de Hongaarse anti-LHBTI wet aanvecht bij het Europees Hof.
Nederland, Luxemburg, België en Portugal steunen de zaak al. Maar meer landen zijn nodig om samen een vuist te kunnen maken. Daarom roepen wij alle EU-landen op om mee te doen.

The European Parliament has just agreed on an ambitious plan to insulate our buildings!
This is great news: it will lower energy bills, make us less dependent on fossil regimes and address the climate crisis.

Deal! After 16 hours of negotiations we agreed on a new Energy Efficiency Directive. The 2030 target is 11,7 % and the yearly energy saving obligation for EU countries will be nearly 1,5 %. This will mean real change for the benefit of the climate and disadvantage of Putin☺️

Eventueel laatste ronde onderhandelingen op energiebesparingsrichtlijn is begonnen. Dat gaat weer een latertje worden. Op verhogen ambitie energiebesparing is positie Nederland nog wat onduidelijk. We hopen op steun vanuit Den Haag voor standpunt Europees Parlement.

Dit laat duidelijk zien dat er geen verschil meer bestaat tussen migratiebeleid van liberale en radicaal-rechtse regeringen in de EU.
