@vanHijum @EU_Commission @EPPGroup Door ETS1, CBAM, sancties op non-respect ESR, plastic tax, heffing op vliegtickets - opties genoeg. Maar wat door de mensen wordt opgebracht bij transport & housing moet ook daarheen voor betere isolatie, groene mobiliteit etc. Voor de EVP in het EP een belangrijk principe.

.@EU_Commission just published its new own resources proposals. For the @EPPGroup it's clear: the money generated from the new ETS for building and transport should be fully used to help EU-citizens with the green transition and not as a general contribution to the EU-budget.

Mijn volledige steun aan collega @pascal_arimont en zijn gezin na de aanval op hun huis. Een molotovcocktail onder het slaapkamerraam van kinderen gooien is onacceptabel.
Mijn @EPPGroup staat op tegen haat en terreur. Ik verwacht dat de daders snel gepakt en gestraft worden.
