Donetsk and Luhansk are integral parts of Ukraine. They are not Putin’s to ‘recognise’. Recognition would be a violation of international law and 🇺🇦 territorial integrity. If Russia recognizes, joint transatlantic sanctions should be imposed immediately. #UnitedWithUkraine

Today marked the beginning of the transatlantic Trade and Tech Council. Good and necessary to strengthen cooperation between #EU and #US on #AI, dual-use exports and investment screening. Also need to shape new rules on unfair #subsidies 🇪🇺🇺🇸

Interesting thread&report. Dutch are turning more to Europe (France-Germany) instead of US (NL is historically one of the most transatlantic countries in EU). No real differences in which country is more of a threat (US, China, Russia) on average; larger per party-affiliation.

The @EUCourtPress has already slammed an EU-Canada agreement on the transfer of #PNR. The agreement with the US should have been terminated as well. But to date the @EU_Commission has refused to do so. It gives precedence to friendly transatlantic relations over defending EU laws
