@JanSmits True. But awareness is growing rapidly. A decade ago privacy and data protection was a niche issue. No more. Attitudes have changed and today it is very much on our radar screen

@JanSmits But they shouldn't. Same applies to many other situations. And even if they do, they can revoke. And the other GDPR requirements always apply.

@thomaslinders Wel op personenverkeer, maar niet op het dienstenverkeer. En het aandeel ZZP'ers is juist heel groot.

Net antwoord gekregen van de Europese Commissie over de knelgevallen onder de #melkveebedrijven. Ik vind dat Den Haag met Brussel gezamenlijk moet werken aan een oplossing, zonder korting van andere melkveehouders.

Big move, also underlining tech platforms’ power to regulate speech, or at least make access to information a lot easier/harder. More explicit commitment to laws over private criteria are needed, as well as independent oversight
