Quite an achievement that with its Presidential candidate and 10 MPs in jail, 4000 activists arrested, some hundred of its mayors removed, moving of ballot boxes in SouthEast, HDP managed to pass the 10% electoral threshold.

The (preliminary) result shows political opposition in Turkey is resilient. This means there is still a strong base for democratic change in Turkey. The EU must take into account that Pres. Erdogan is not the only counterpart.
