How many tech specialists do you think Facebook has?

Only 5 of Europe’s GDPR enforcers have more than 10;
the Dutch @toezicht_AP only has 4

We need to enable our DPA’s. Otherwise, we cannot expect real oversight of GDPR and the Digital Services Act.

@GherghisanM @Mr_Zakka @ThierryBreton @EU_Commission That is a false choice. #GDPR allows fully for the use of personal data to fight an epidemic. But each measure will still have to meet the “necessity and proportionality” requirement and contain all necessary safeguards.As stated clearly in the @EU_EDPS opinion

(2/2) Bestaan al veel regels die ook gelden voor #AI (oa GDPR, AwB en Grondwet). Daar moeten bedrijven en organisaties zich aan (gaan) houden en voor de gaten in de wetgeving moeten we hier in het EP aan de slag! 💪

Interessant, want de Europese Commissie zag op haar beurt geen risico’s, nadat we erachter kwamen dat data van Nederlandse ambtenaren in lijn met #GDPR werd opgeslagen door Microsoft 🤔
