Putin’s theatre of the absurd: agree to corridors. Bomb women, children and elderly trying to escape through these. Propose new corridors. Have these lead to Russia instead of to safety. Then mine the corridors.

Today’s 🇺🇦-🇷🇺 talks must have one clear immediate objective: the Kremlin must stick to humanitarian corridors leading to safety.

Reminder: bombing Ukrainian civilians trying to escape is a war crime and humanitarian corridors leading to invaders Russia and Belarus are absurd.

People think Europe depends on Russia for energy because it lacks its own, but 15 years ago Europe exported more natural gas than Russia does today. Now, Russia exports 3x more gas than Europe produces. Why? Because climate activists, partly funded by Russia, blocked fracking.

Ukraine’s proposal to revoke Russian IP-ranges and lock them out of global DNS is a bad idea. The effects will not be restricted to Russia, and it could incentivise China and Russia to leave RIPE, ICANN and other fora. Support Ukraine, but not by going nuclear on the internet
