Er is een sluipende crisis in Europa. Net als het klimaat, is de Europese rechtsstaat in gevaar. Deze situatie ettert door, zolang er geen structurele Europese oplossing komt voor schendingen van de rechtsstaat. Lees mijn opinie hieronder:

Al jaren vraagt de @PartijvdDieren om hormoonverstorende stoffen van de markt te halen. En al jaren zet de Europese Commissie moedwillig de gezondheid van mensen en dieren op het spel. #ongelofelijk
Toch maar laten liggen, de zoete ramboetan uit Thailand? De groene papaja uit Brazilië? De sappige nectarine en de druiven uit Spanje? In die vruchten zitten opvallend vaak stoffen die de hormoonbalans bij mensen kunnen verstoren. trouw.nl/binnenland/wat…

LHBTI rechten zijn mensenrechten! Helaas is bescherming van die rechten ook in 🇪🇺 niet vanzelfsprekend. Op #HumanRightsDay extra belangrijk te zorgen dat LHBTI’ers overal zichzelf kunnen zijn. Met @MalikAzmani werkte ik vandaag aan een resolutie tegen LHBTI discriminatie 👇🏼

Commissie EP maakt blauwdruk ‘Toekomst Europa’. Tekst is dictaat van christen-democraten (CDA), liberalen (VVD/D66), socialisten (PvdA) en Groenen (GL). Anderen zijn uitgesloten. Ze willen een EU-staat met EU-leger en EU-belasting. Hun Leider: @guyverhofstadt. #FVD leidt verzet.

Indeed. Next to a #GreenNewDeal we need a #BlueNewDeal. Let’s not forget about this because our oceans are in danger. Recently @OCTassociation hosted a conference on Oceans and Climate. The Overseas Countries and Territories are already warning for it. Act now.

Als het aankomt op de wereldhandel, kan het niet zo zijn dat één man de scheidsrechter buitenspel zet.
Toch lijkt het te gebeuren bij de WTO.. Vanavond is de deadline, dan loopt het mandaat van 2 van de 3 overgebleven leden af. #tobecontinued

oa rechters en aanklagers die hier mee te maken hebben gehad zullen aanwezig zijn.

Wat is het medicijn tegen geldwolven!?
Novartis verzesvoudigt prijs van medicijn dat door een academisch ziekenhuis is ontwikkeld. Maar het wil geen inzicht geven in de kosten van doorontwikkeling van dat medicijn, én verdedigt een rendement van 20%
