Finally some hints of the new pact on migration by @Schinas aiming to unblock the asylum package: combining measures on immigration, both labour migration and asylum, returns, border control. Integral package, by early 2020. Something in the goodiebag for everyone? 1/2

#Schinas answer on EU Turkey deal is concerning: Avramopoulos and Seehofer are currently in Turkey in order to ‘refresh’ the deal. He praises new Greek government for ‘aligning with EU’s policy’. Doesn’t sound like more responsibility sharing.

At #EPhearings2019 Commissioner @MargSchinas pressed to defend the controversial title "Protecting our European Way of Life", invented by #VDL.

The title is a dogwhistle to the far right and should be dropped.
