Do these advantages outweigh the enormous amount of data that the government and companies collects and stores, from our citizens? #ECR

@JJ_Almekinders Hoe ik er over denk blijkt wel uit mijn speech van 22-11-21.
Maar de Europese Commissie is er maar wat trots op. Het is een tijdelijk EU instrument en ondanks het falen ben ik bang dat deze niet verdwijnt en dat er een koppeling komt met de #EuropeanDigitalIdentityWa­llet­.

Hiermee kunnen EU burgers hun identiteit bewijzen en delen voor toegang tot openbare en particuliere diensten in heel Europa.

Eerst vrijwillig, maar voor hoelang? Nog meer controle?!
