Costs of living are getting closer in Eastern and Western Europe. But wages are not keeping up. That’s another reason for trade unions to be given a stronger role to support workers in their negotiations with their employers.

And we need to protect workers. It wouldn’t kill us to pay an extra 50 cents for a pizza so the Deliveroo guy gets some social protections!

And we need strong trade unions for strong workers’ rights.
