Earlier this year the @EU_Commission would publish an independent expert report on fundamental rights compliance of EU and national data collection instruments, requested by @Europarl_EN back in 2015. Why are there still no results?

Can Canada disclose PNR data of EU citizens to the US, as the 🇪🇺🇺🇸PNR agreement has still not been amended & is not compliant at all with the ECJ’s standards?

In @EUCourtPress #PrivacyShield case brought by @maxschrems. @EU_Commission has failed miserably in upholding EU data protection rules, leaving it to private citizens to litigate. Will the Commission @vonderleyen do better and protect us from digital giants and US surveillance?

@NL_Wetenschap Je eigen data mag je gewoon opvragen. Dan krijg je (meestal) een CD of DVD met DICOM files. Die kan je dan als PNG of in een ander formaat exporteren (met wat handigheid)

Functionaliteiten op onze roadmap houden we nog even geheim want alles wat we gaan ontwikkelen bestaat nog niet in de markt :)

Adequacy is not about "soft" power but about rock-solid legal safeguards. In practice however, this principle is largely disregarded by the @EU_Commission

Once again the #CJEU exposes the legal holes in security policies. @EU_Commission does not seem to learn any lessons (data retention, Safe Harbour, PNR, etc), and keeps churning out legally unsound proposals. At the expense of fundamental rights and the rule of law.

+1Do you think it is a good idea to share personal data with Saudi Arabia? I don't. The @EU_Commission should refuse to negotiate data sharing deals with such countries. Seems rather illusory to rely on Saudi data protection assurances🙄 #PNR
