The European Parliament has just agreed on an ambitious plan to insulate our buildings!

This is great news: it will lower energy bills, make us less dependent on fossil regimes and address the climate crisis.

Deal! After 16 hours of negotiations we agreed on a new Energy Efficiency Directive. The 2030 target is 11,7 % and the yearly energy saving obligation for EU countries will be nearly 1,5 %. This will mean real change for the benefit of the climate and disadvantage of Putin☺️

Het antwoord op de Amerikaanse klimaatmiljarden moet niet een mondiale race-to-the-bottom zijn.
