Hier Raadsconclusies: consilium.europa.eu/media/47296/10… (pdf) Op klimaat goed dat het tenminste(!) -55% is. Maar het is netto-doel, wat landgebruik betekent (met grote onzekerheden&gevecht over hoe te tellen). En in voorjaar gaan leiders weer details bespreken. Wetgeving in unanimiteit:-(

Vrouwen in Nederland verdienen gemiddeld 14,8% minder dan hun mannelijke collega’s. Het is verboden is om vrouwen minder te betalen voor hetzelfde werk, maar gebeurt dat nog steeds.
Wij willen een richtlijn voor loontransparantie. De loonkloof moet dicht voor 2030. #SocialRights

Anyone can start a legal challenge at any given time. But that is no justification for delaying the full and unabridged implementation of EU legislation. This is a very alarming precedent.

Important clarification by @VeraJourova on #MFF & #ruleoflaw compromise: "Some Member States might want to seek full legal certainty (..) before European Court of Justice. This is their right. I expect the proceeding to go fast. (..) We're talking about MONTHS rather than years."

Precieze tekst nog te analyseren; ongetwijfeld met enkele pijnlijke paragrafen. Maar tot de Europese verkiezingen vorig jaar was een verhoging van het klimaatdoel nog onmogelijk. Die verkiezingen, met groene winst, hebben dit mogelijk gemaakt. Dank kiezer!

@HaagseInsider De EU is o.l.v. de Fransen nog meer een regelfabriek geworden. Centraal bestuur ligt niet in Brussel maar in Parijs. Lagarde bestuurt ECB, vd Leyen,door Macron naar voren geschoven, de EC. De Fransen zijn bijna failliet. Een harde Brexit komt ze politiek goed uit.
