Veel van de schokkende OLAF bevindingen over Frontex, stonden ook in ons rapport vorig jaar. Maar OLAF bevestigt nog eens hoe doelbewust de mensenrechten aan de kant werden geschoven en geschonden. Nog veel werk aan de winkel.

Maybe useful to underline that all member states are represented on the @Frontex management board, which for years has refused to act. It seems there was even just a narrow majority for the resignation of Leggeri. They are 100% complicit

As long as the @EU_Commission stays in its ultra-intergovernmental mindset, enforcement of EU laws will remain weak. The Commission cannot both serve and police the member states. High time for an independent Commission, as required by the Treaties

@hasanramaj Goede vraag @hasanramaj Volgens mij geen enkel belang. Behalve voor Kosovaren zou het ook heel goed zijn voor de positie van Nederland en voor ons allemaal zelf om dit zinloze verzet op te geven.

Since 8 months, I ask for public access to the OLAF report. After 2 refusals by Frontex, now with OLAF. I just received a reply that they need more time. But now we all know why this transparency is key to hold Frontex and Greece accountable and to stop these blatant violations.

+1With a broad coalition of over 25 representatives from the European, German, Dutch and French Parliaments, we urge @ohrbih to revoke his recent election law changes.

Such impactful reforms should be reached through a democratic process, not by imposition by the OHR.

Good to know which countries already have visa free travel to the EU👇🏼and note that European leaders will most probably go for granting visa free travel to Qatar and Kuwait very soon - currently under discussion in the Parliament (END)
