@HuubHabets @LSchreinemacher @Refugees @UNHCR_Nederland Dat is oa uw belastingbijdrage. De Nederlandse kiezers hebben het kabinet een blanco cheque gegeven. Met dank aan de Tweede Kamer. Dat had natuurlijk nooit gemogen. Want de rekening komt echt wel…

Horrible news. Hatred kills. But there are always politicians who fan homophobia for electoral reasons, under the cloak of “values”. It is despicable.

I’m deeply saddened by the tragic event in the 🏳️‍🌈 bar in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Two men were brutally murdered. Motive unknown, but police not ruling out hate towards the #LGBTI community.

My sincerest condolences go out to their families and friends.

Monitoring money flows to low tax jurisdictions is very important to evaluate if policy is successful. Role also for European Parliament. Nice to change the law, but is it really working? Asks van Rij. I want to start this debate also in Brussels and with NGOs.

The EU took strong action. Legislation is good, but will it really work? And how do you measure effect? This is what Dutch Central Bank will look at: how much money ends up in Low Tax Jurisdictions? Flow went down from 38bn to 6bn. Needs to go to 0. Strong ambitious from van Rij!
