Sinds aan de macht komen van Erdogans AKP/2002 verdubbelde het budget/personeelsbestand van Diyanet (Directoraat Relgieuze Zaken) naar voorzien jaarbudget 2019 van 1,7 miljard euro en meer dan 140.000 kaderleden. Illustratief voor groeiende publieke rol en aanzien van Diyanet.

Vanmiddag had ik maar liefst 100 (!) studenten van de opleiding Dier- en Veehouderij van @Hogeschool_VHL op bezoek in het Europees Parlement! Deze toekomstige boeren en boerinnen hielden me scherp door kritische vragen te stellen. Blijf zo doorgaan, en bedankt voor het bezoek!
