6/ De ex-superstore draait nu met zo’n 160 plekken (slim idee: afschalen, wel openhouden) Dus er is nu veel plek voor opslag van humanitaire goederen. In Przemysl zijn ze voorbereid op de winter en ook tevreden over de geboden financiële steun.

5/ In het centrum is plaats voor 1200 mensen die er maximaal 48 uur verblijven voordat ze doorreizen. Op enig moment sliepen er 4000 mensen en lagen alle gangen en hallen vol. In totaal zijn 1.2 miljoen mensen uit 🇺🇦 het afgelopen half jaar Przemysl en omgeving gepasseerd.

4/ Toen het er echt op aan kwam nam burgemeester Bakun zijn verantwoordelijkheid in Przemysl en ging de opvang coördineren. Dat doet hij nog steeds in het reception center waar hij ons rondleidt met partner @RedCrossEU en waar ook @UNICEF @unhcr en anderen actief zijn.

3/ Kent u deze burgemeester nog meneer @matteosalvinimi? Het is Wojciech Bakun die u herinnerde aan uw Poetin shirt en aan de alliantie die @LegaSalvini nog steeds (!) heeft met die van de oorlogsmisdadiger in het Kremlin.

+22/ In het verderop gelegen en iets grotere stadje Przemysl werden tijdens de eerste weken van de oorlog in Oekraïne, op het hoogtepunt van het aantal aankomsten per trein, zo’n 1500 mensen per uur ontvangen. De foto van de stationshal is uit die dagen.

The groups that are loudest on the "race with the US and China" are ironically the ones that listen to Big Tech most.

@GerritHiemstra @NickyBouwers @tdenooijer Dit lijkt me ook niet helemaal juist. Bij veel instanties en landen zijn inentingsbewijzen verplicht. Je kunt ook voortdurend testen. Ik ken principiële mensen die dat doen. Maar het is erg belastend en tijdrovend.

@blauwalg Ik begrijp dat dit niet helemaal in je straatje past, maar uit advies Commissie Deskundigen Meststoffenwet blijkt dat derogatie, onder meer als gevolg van de voorwaarde ten aanzien van grasland, positief bijdraagt aan de waterkwaliteit, het klimaat en de agrobiodiversiteit.
