Zo wil Macron de pensioenleeftijd trapsgewijs verhogen van 62 naar 64 jaar. Ook wil hij ook het aantal jaren dat Fransen moeten werken om aanspraak te maken op een volledig pensioen verhogen: dat gaat van 42 naar 43 jaar.

Ook de EU zet bussen in. De TGV, de hoge snelheidslijn, reed maar beperkt vandaag. Ook de EU-trein vanuit Straatsburg terug naar Brussel reed niet. Dit zorgde voor veel EU-staf voor problemen. /via @NOS nos.nl/l/2460452

We must prioritize human rights in our relations with Morocco and not give in to the King's pressure. We cannot leave the brave journalists and Rif El Hirak protesters alone.

Uber hanteert nog steeds dubieuze lobbypraktijken om hun winst koste wat kost veilig te stellen. “Do whatever it takes”, is hun mantra.

Dat verdienmodel moet gewoon nu onze economie uit!

This is a follow-up to my letter sent last June, where I requested the withdrawal of access of these types of anti-rights organisations in the EP. The EP is a pillar of pluralistic and democratic society. Organisations that want to take away rights are trying to subvert this.

BREAKING: Voor het eerst in 25 jaar heeft het EP een resolutie aangenomen over de mensenrechtensituatie in Marokko, specifiek over de intimidatie van journalisten en Hirak activisten.

Verder roepen we op tot maatregelen nav Marokko´s rol in het corruptieschandaal in het EP.

Het Europees Parlement debatteert over “de criminalisering van humanitaire hulp” op zee. Die titel is gebaseerd op een leugen. Er is geen sprake van humanitaire hulp, maar van georganiseerde mensensmokkel. NGO’s worden er rijkelijk voor betaald. Dit ondermijnt de rechtsstaat ⤵️

@ericvanderburg Met het Zweeds voorzitterschap van de EU is het een goed moment om verkiezingsbeloftes op dit punt waar te maken. Zweden wil wel. Italië ook. De Britten zijn al bezig. Net als de Denen. Als de VVD nu niets onderneemt om de instroom te beperken dan is dat niet meer uit te leggen
