📡 Modernisering EU🇪🇺 #Roaming regels: Europeanen moeten overal mobiel kunnen bellen en internetten, zonder dat de #verbinding wordt verbroken wanneer zij een binnengrens over gaan. We hebben één interne markt, waarom zijn er dan dit soort kunstmatige grenzen?

De #Amazon handscanner bepaalt tot op de seconde wat je als werknemer moet doen.
En als je afwijkt krijg je een boete, zelfs voor naar de WC gaan. Onmenselijk!
Amazon bespioneert vakbonden en intimideert iedereen die overweegt om lid te worden.
Dat willen we in Europa niet!

De Europese Commissie wil de gedragscode voor online platforms updaten om de verspreiding van valse informatie en nepnieuws tegen te gaan.
Goed nieuws, maar vrijwillige afspraken zijn niet genoeg, we hebben verplichte transparantie en toezicht nodig.

As far back as 2012, I started to investigate the EU’s failure to save lives of migrants at sea. Even though almost 10 years have passed, the conclusions of both reports sadly are very similar.

Huurwoningen zouden niet enkel in handen van een aantal grote investeerders mogen zijn, dit zal op termijn de huurprijzen laten stijgen.
Meer volkshuisvesting, sterke huurregulering en de marktwerking aan banden leggen is wat we nodig hebben.

Tijdens @forfinancewatch & @AGE_PlatformEU event sprak ik over ouderen die risico lopen op armoede & sociale uitsluiting, die geen actie kunnen ondernemen om de situatie te veranderen. Belangrijk: om te kunnen blijven #participeren moet er ook toegankelijke steun komen!
