@ZilteBotte Intuïtie: de antenne die op waarde moet worden geschat. Wat is er aan de hand? Er zijn, mede door internet heel veel data en gegevens beschikbaar. Het vermogen om daar nuttige info van te bakken is minder wijdverbreid. We weten nog erg weinig. En te weinig zijn zich dat bewust.

Vandaag stemde het Europees Parlement over het delen van gegevens van EU-agentschappen (zoals het Europees Openbaar Ministerie) met #Interpol.

Internationale politiesamenwerking kan goed zijn, maar we moeten wel goed uitkijken welke data we precies delen.

@tomjanmeeus @ChristianneWal Een model kun je “tweaken” (aanpassen). Het bestaat uit aannames, data en een berekening. De data kies je, de aannames ook. Afhankelijk van je keuzes krijg je andere uitkomsten. Dit geldt in principe voor alle modellen. Makkelijker kan ik het niet uitleggen.

COVID-19 heeft laten zien dat er een inhaalslag nodig is in de digitalisering van onze zorg. Wie ooit in een buitenlands ziekenhuis heeft gezeten, weet wat dit in de praktijk betekent. De versnippering van data en allerlei taalbarrières helpt niemand, behalve databoeren. #EHDS

❗️ In yet another landmark ruling the @EUCourtPress - again - bans general and indiscriminate retention of data. Data may be used for fighting crime and national security, under certain conditions. Member states have so far ignored the ECJ rulings.

2. Je verwijst naar een draadje waarin geclaimd wordt dat het certificaat vergezeld wordt door een vaccinatieplicht.

Beide is niet waar.

Ook Weyzig noemt gebrek aan data als belangrijk tekort. Data moet worden gepubliceerd en beschikbaar zijn voor onderzoekers. Bedrijven zetten hier al goede stappen in met country by country reporting, aldus Weyzig.

Naar verluidt maakten zowel het Oekraïense leger als de geheime diensten gebruik van Viasat. Over de precieze impact van de hack heb ik nog geen data gezien. Maar dat dit in de eerste dagen van de invasie militaire communicatie verhinderde, lijkt me zeer waarschijnlijk

Frontex gave us 2 documents, but reveals they have 433 doc’s listing interaction (!). Remarkable if you don’t cooperate.

One week ago, the European Parliament adopted 3 amendments of our Coalition on the Digital Services Act with a broad majority.

These amendments effectively ban tracking and targeting of minors and the use of sensitive data for advertising purposes.
