Excluding nuclear power plants from EU funding is illogical, because these plants are a stable energy source and do not emit CO2.

@joelbasson Regulation is about what can be called a sustainable finance. Nuclear was not out as option anyhow. We just need safeguards on long-term waste disposal effects. That was already in the initial deal. Let's see what France wants more.

Shocking that the same day the Green New Deal is presented the compromise on a sustainable standard for investment is refused. @EmmanuelMacron wants to be champion of #sustainablefinance but also wants to let nuclear contaminate the standard. The Parliament won't move on this!

Het argument dat #kernenergie te duur is wordt constant aangedragen om er niet aan te beginnen. Maar het is een feit dat energie door nuclear in Frankrijk vele malen GOEDKOPER -, SCHONER -, en ZEKERDER is dan de energie van de #renewables in Duitsland.
