Ik ben het zelden eens met @SophieintVeld van @D66, maar deze brief heb ik van harte ondersteund. Haar klacht is terecht: de Europese Commissie antwoordt te vaag en te traag. Dit ondermijnt de democratie.

Parlementaire vragen die slecht, half of niet beantwoord worden. In een gezonde parlementaire democratie is dat een doodzonde voor een kabinet of in dit geval, de Europese Commissie.
Dit mag het Europees Parlement niet accepteren.

Bij gebrek aan werkend EU asiel- en migratiebeleid ad hoc plan nodig:
👉🏼 Stop dehumanisering en alle pushbacks aan 🇪🇺 buitengrens
👉🏼 Polen moet hulp grensbewaking en asielprocedure accepteren en humanitaire hulp toelaten
👉🏼 Overname asielaanvragen door andere lidstaten (2/2)

Dat 🇪🇺 vandaag met hardere sancties komt tegen Lukashenka twijfel ik niet aan. Had al veel eerder gemoeten en we gaan zien of men echt over eigen belangen heen kan kijken. Maar wat gaan we horen over naleving grondrechten aan buitengrens? ⤵️ (1/2)

Er wordt veel gespeculeerd over een mogelijke lage #vaccinatiegraad in de Marokkaanse gemeenschap. Daarom een🧵 over het denk en besluitproces van mijn ouders en hoe zij tot het besluit zijn gekomen om zich te vaccineren. Beiden maakten besluit los van elkaar.

Dat Shell een Brits bedrijf wordt, is slecht nieuws voor Nederland. Als Nederland wil kunnen investeren in een duurzame economie, is een gezond bedrijfsleven nodig. Ik hoop dat Shell ook in Nederland blijft investeren in een duurzame energievoorziening.
