+1Zojuist heb ik Vera Bergkamp, de Kamervoorzitter, deze brief gestuurd. Ik treed af als Kamerlid. Dat was een moeilijk besluit. Het was een eer om dit ambt te mogen vervullen.

Mooie eerste stap!🎉Vanaf nu 9 weken extra betaald ouderschapsverlof. Deze wet werd aangenomen in het @Europarl_EN en is nu dus uitgevoerd.
De wet geeft ouders meer financiële vrijheid, minder zorgen en met name vrouwen meer ruimte voor eigen ambities✅trouw.nl/politiek/ouder…

During our Slovenia visit, we hear from every independent institution that they are subjected to personal attacks by the prime minister. These attempts to discredit authoritative watchdogs (like public prosecutors and court of auditors) are a real threat to the rule of law.

The suggestion that the EC withheld an assessment on the negative impact on farmers of the #Farm2Fork plans is extremely worrying. We need full transparency on the effects of this strategy to involve farmers & rural communities in the transition to a more sustainable economy. 1/2
