+1Belangrijke hoorzitting in EP Visserijcommissie over visserij en Brexit. De visserij krijgt er helaas ook met de #Brexit flink van langs en moet gecompenseerd worden voor de verliezen! En de EU Commissie @EU_MARE moet staan voor de belangen van de vissers

Most members would also like to see a global minimum rate higher than the 15 percent currently discussed. There is strong support for 21 percent with all big groups in the assemblée nationale 💪

Taxation is often decided upon in backrooms by experts and diplomats, not politicians. That puts the European Parliament in a similar position as national parliaments.

Eens! Maar dat kan alleen met medewerking van de lidstaten. Maar regeringen kijken liever weg terwijl in HU en PL de rechtsstaat naar de ratsmodee gaat, dan dat ze de EU bevoegdheden geven. Blind voor het feit dat rechtsstaatsproblemen in één land, de hele EU raken

Op elke nieuwe stap van corrupte autocraat Orbàn volgt verontwaardiging. Maar zolang de andere regeringen en Commissie het sanctiemechanisme blijven saboteren onder het mom van "nationale souvereiniteit", kan Orbàn ongehinderd zijn gang gaan.

@TradelabelNL @ARTEfr Goed idee! Op zich is het wel de bedoeling dat alle bedrijven straks sowieso hun zorgplicht nakomen - dus misschien is het label dan nuttig voor bedrijven die nog een stapje extra willen doen. Ik zal met collega’s kijken waar dit idee het best geïntroduceerd kan worden.
