A high baseline is jeopardising that. Many speakers during the hearings in the EP warned for this.

I was willing to support them and find a majority for more budget eco-schemes. But no movement, what so ever, from their side 😔

More funding and more room because of lower baseline, will make eco-schemes way more attractive for farmes to participate. There are many examples in the field. Talk to the farmers and the local NGOs

If they would have accepted that, more MEPs could agree to shift budget from DIS to eco-schemes. A win-win-win!: More budget and more room for eco-schemes and less green-washing of DIS!

Hier pleiten wij samen al jaren voor in de @EPPGroup: onderhandelingen over lidmaatschap met #Turkije zijn niet realistisch en moeten stoppen. Beter werken aan alternatief partnerschap. Volgende week zullen wij hiertoe weer een plenair amendement indienen op het Turkije-rapport.
