An efficient return for those without legal grounds to stay in the EU is a pre-requisite for a fair and sustainable EU Asylum and Migration policy. The effectiveness of return can only be improved if we increase coordination and strengthen the external dimension #MigrationEU

Crystal clear judgement: Hungary broke EU law by detaining asylum seekers in transit zones and blocking access to asylum. It once again shows that Orban doesn’t care about human rights and the Rule of Law. It also sets red lines for the upcoming Migration Pact negotiations.
