Klopt als een bus. Het is belangrijk om onafhankelijke controleurs in de Tweede Kamer, de Eerste Kamer en het Europees Parlement te hebben, die kunnen oordelen op basis van expertise en ervaring zonder de dwang/drang van een partij. wyniasweek.nl/nederland-mo­et…­

The mindset of “One rule for them, another rule for us” is quite strong in the European Council. By weakening the EU Green Bond Standard for sovereign bonds, EU Member States undermine the standard for everyone. Don’t do it.

Goed en alarmered stuk van @LuukvMiddelaar. Trump’s trawanten streven ook in Europa naar de afbraak van democratie. Zoals US Republicans Trump de hand boven het hoofd houden, laat de Europese Raad v regeringleiders de autocraten in eigen kring ongemoeid. Houtrot in de democratie

Onverantwoord dat het Europarlement net instemde met onhaalbare doelen voor #landbouw.
Zonder grondig onderzoek boeren en tuinders veel gewasbeschermingsmiddelen afnemen, leidt tot plantenziekten, misoogsten, import. Niet doen!

Wrong frame: EU doesn't push against Poland, the Polish government pushes against the EU. Independence of the judiciary and primacy of EU law are not negotiable. Excessive tolerance for autocrats got us into this mess in the first place.
